Okay, mother’s day was hard. Like, really hard.

I realized that not a lot of people can actually understand what this feels like - to not have a mother and then to not have a mother on mother's day. It's like the entire world around you is doing something you can not participate in at all. Here's how it went for me.

How John Lennon chose to use creativity after The Beatles to deal with the death of his mother.

I learned that John Lennon lost his mom when he was 18 and suppressed much of his grief for the entire time he was in The Beatles until he learned about "primal therapy" from Dr. Arthor Janov and released his first solo album with Yoko Ono. How can we grow as humans using grief through creativity?
